Pricing questions

Which option is right for me?

If you work with documents yourself, start with LexChat. If you want to automate document workflows at your firm, the Enterprise Platform is built for that. And if you're building a product or pipeline, use the API.

Is the API included in LexChat plans?

No. LexChat plans cover the web app and Word add-in. The API is a separate product with its own volume-based plans, billed independently.

Why isn't API pricing listed?

Plans are sized by volume tiers based on pages processed per month, and the exact price depends on your volume and document mix.

Is there a free way to evaluate the API?

Yes. Sign up for Studio and parse your own documents right away, with 2,500 free pages included. If you'd rather look first, the Playground is open to everyone: a set of pre-uploaded sample documents processed by our real engine, so you can see exactly how it works before you commit.

Do all plans use the same engine?

Yes. LexChat, the Enterprise Platform, and the API all run on the same engine, so a document parses the same way whichever product you use.

What counts as a billed page?

Every page of a document that finishes processing. Uploads that fail and documents that fail to process aren't billed, and reading results is always free. Uploading the same file again counts as a new document.
